It was a special delight to visit this fair that is celebrated between the 30 July – 10 August. It was good to see that the Fair offers free transport to visitors, and schools go free. Two floors of the Campo Ferial Chuquiago Marka are occupied by the several stands.
It’s interesting to see that the Fair is not only presenting all type of books. It has also conferences on many key topics with participation of important speakers. There are special sessions on Bolivian literature, photos’ exhibition, and special programme for children and youth.
The fair has many guest speakers, and the programme has been shared with representatives from Argentina, Chile, Cuba, México and Japan.
I had to pay B/10, which is a bit more than US$ 1.00. I got several books, leaflets and invitations.
I will go back next week!
